Everyone, even celebrities, has a favorite Thanksgiving meal. Ri Drummond, Tori Spelling, Kelly Ripa and others told fans about their favorite dishes to eat at the festival.
Some dishes are traditional and some are not as you would expect.
Here’s a look at what some of the stars have said about their favorite dishes over the years:
Ri Drummond
Known as the “Pioneer Woman,” Drummond has always shared her favorite Thanksgiving dishes.
She loves making Nantucket Cranberry Pie, oatmeal, mashed potatoes and homemade cranberry sauce along with roasted turkey.
Tori spelling
Many Thanksgiving meals include green bean meal. Spell serves its guests by turning vegetables.
“My bacon-wrapped green bean packs are the main dish of Thanksgiving,” Spelling said.
Kelly Ripa
Ripa’s family isn’t that big of a turkey after a year of Thanksgiving disaster. There were a handful of unexpected guests in the family, and the oven went off, leaving half of the turkey raw.
Instead, Ripa produces a variety of proteins during the holiday.
“Joaquin knows pork and pork very well,” he said. “She loves it so much! My daughter is more like my people. We love whipped mashed potatoes, but we also love sweet mashed potatoes. We love any mashed potatoes and carbs.”
Christine Cavaliers
Kavali has released several cookbooks, and his Thanksgiving spread is usually a mix of his favorite recipes.
“I do the filling in the book [and] gluten-free and milk-free pecan pie, ”he told Us Weekly last year before the holiday. “I cook a spicy egg as an appetizer and make apple pie from real roots, pumpkin puree with butter, and then clear Brussels sprouts. So many things! ”
Jessica Alba
Alba doesn’t have a particular favorite dish. She loves to “cook it all up,” even though she respects turkey, fillings, and candied yams.
“I love cooking it all!” said Alba. “I love turkey; I love the filling; I love candied yams – I love them all! ”
Jake Gyllenhaal
Gyllenhaal’s favorite dish for Thanksgiving isn’t that common, but it seems to have been lovingly prepared by her mother.
“My mom makes this crazy cucumber salad,” she told ExtraTV.
Gigi Hadid
Hadid focuses on sweets during the holiday, calling himself a “cake girl”.
“I always make a pie for Thanksgiving. I’m a pie girl, ”he told the WWD. “I love ravioli pie, I love apple pie, pumpkin pie and BlackBerry pie, but sometimes it mixes with ravioli. [pie]”.
“My dad cooks meat and meat very well, and my mom is the best with butter carrots and cranberries Jell-O or whatever you call it. Bella makes dessert. Anwar just eats and I make pies, ”added the supermodel.
