Yukika and Kim Mi-jong (aka yourbeagle) have released a new collaboration called “Sunset”.
The song, inspired by city pop, was accompanied by a music video showing two musicians performing a delicate track from a pink room lit by fairytale lights. “Call me, baby, call me / Before this moon sets, before you fall asleep / Call me, baby, call me / I still call you I’m waiting ” the duet harmonizes in chorus.
“Sunset” was released as part of the Kozypop project of the South Korean music curatorial service. The city pop track was also produced by Gusta, who has worked on tracks for other Korean musicians such as Reddy, Wayne and Asuka.
Yukika is a Japanese K-pop soloist who made her debut with her single Neon in 2019 and was later included on her 2020 debut album Soul Lady. The singer is known for her msuci and voice inspired by her urban pop, including singles like “Insomnia”, “Cherries Jubiles” and more.
