Why were Nate Diaz and Dustin Poire’s fights in UFC 230 canceled?

Dustin Poirier and Nate Diaz clashed in UFC 230 in November 2018. Unfortunately, the fight was called off because Diamond was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Poirier later claimed in a Twitter post that negotiations for the Diaz fight were not going in the right direction. As a result, the Louisiana native chose to treat a long-term injury instead of fighting a Stockton resident.

“SHE IS [Nate Diaz] he wanted it, he couldn’t come to terms with the ufc. They offered us a major event at MSG, but he would only agree to its terms. I was tired of playing games with the guy and decided to treat the injury I got then. Now you all know the #facts. “Dustin Poiryer wrote.

Poire said that despite the cancellation, he still wanted to fight Dias in the future. He also admitted that he may have jumped the gun on charges against Nate Diaz. Poirier wrote:

“And the truth is the situation with me and Nate … well, when the news came out that he couldn’t pass the test, I jumped the gun. He was always a guy who wanted clean food and clean sports. I shouldn’t have that. still doesn’t change the fact that I want to beat him **. “

Both fighters have gone two separate lines in their MMA careers. Now Diaz will compete in the welterweight division. His last fight was losing a decision against Leon Edwards at UFC 263.

Pirie, on the other hand, defeated Conor McGregor for the second time in a row in UFC 254.

Nate Diaz calls Dustin Poirier on Twitter

Nate Diaz posted a photo of himself and Dustin Poire on Twitter, allegedly calling on Diamond to fight for £ 185. This is surprising, considering that at least no fighter has fought at that weight.

Poirier said he would perform better than The Stockton Slugger in any weight class.

This isn’t the first time Diaz has called Dustin Poirier on social media. The MMA veteran had tweeted “Diamond” after Poorer’s victory over Conor McGregor at UFC 257.

“I’m training for the next ur a **. Don’t talk about it.” Written by Nate Diaz.
