Khabib Nurmagomedov’s ability to accurately predict the outcome of the fights is no less than that of his former rival Conor McGregor. While the Irishman proudly declared himself a “Mystic Mac” for his accurate predictions, Nurmagomedov isn’t parading his ability to do the same.
In 2015, when Conor McGregor faced Jose Aldo in the UFC welterweight division, Khabib Nurmagomedov had clearly predicted the outcome. In a video released by BJPenn.com, ‘The Eagle’ clearly predicts that McGregor will knock out Aldoni.
Nurmagomedov and the Irish were on good terms at the time, and the undefeated Dagestani fighter even admitted it in an interview.
“He’s a great guy, I like him. I think he can beat Jose Aldo, maybe finish him. But many people think Jose Aldo beat him, but I think he does. [Conor] kills him. “
When he was in a cordial relationship with McGregor, he believed that Khabib Nurmagomedov would break Notorious if he rose to the Irish lightweight category. Asked about the outcome of a possible confrontation with McGregor, Habib’s answer came three years later.
“I like Conor McGregor, but when he gets to 155, I’ll break him in 4 minutes – no problem.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov says Conor McGregor’s days as an elite fighter are over
After McGregor broke his horrible leg in UFC 264, Khabib Nurmagomedov doesn’t think the Irishman will be that fighter again. According to Nurmagomedov, McGregor has been out of the game for a very long time and could lose if he encounters any elite opponent in the Irish 155-pound division.
In an interview with ESPN after UFC 264, Khabib Nurmagomedov said the following about McGregor:
“With broken legs, yes, [he could be the same]”Nurmagomedov said.” But with his broken legs, he never kicks the same. With him, no, I don’t believe it [he’ll return to the top]. Conor’s age is good, but what happened to his mind, his legs – this guy is over, but he’s good to be promoted. ”
