Placebo shared an official live video for the latest single “Try better next time” – check below.
The duo of Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal released the track earlier this month as the third preview of their eighth album. ‘Never let Me Go’, which comes on March 22nd.
Today (January 21), Placebo posted a live performance of the song, directed by Oscar Sansom, on his official YouTube channel.
In the clip, Molko and Olsdal can be seen performing among the old school TVs, complemented by members of their tour group and featuring the show as VHS.
In keeping with the aesthetics of the art of “Try Better Next Time,” the “Placebo” is illuminated by flashing red lights, playing on a stage set in a rectangular shape. You can watch the video here:
The upcoming “Never Let Me Go” will also feature previous 2021 singles “Surrounded by spies” and “Beautiful James”, the latter marked the band’s first new material in five years.
The placebo should show the record Travel to the UK and Ireland in November / December. Molko et al. also delivers An exclusive collection of the UK Festival at the Bearded Theory’s Spring Meeting In May.
