Lucy Dakus performed a Tiny Desk (Home) concert from his old school in Richmond, Virginia.
The indie-rock artist and his band have returned to their apple materia for a special edition of the long-running NPR series.
Performing on stage in Maggie Walker High School classes, Dakus performed four songs from his latest album “Home video”, released last month.
List of Brando, VBS, Going Going Gone and Thumbs. The second performance was the first time Dacus performed the song on camera. “It can be hard to hear – it’s just a warning,” he told the audience in advance. “If you don’t want to listen to it, just turn off this video!”

The star will take the record to the UK and Ireland stages Next year. The tour starts on March 18 at Leeds ’Brudenell Social Club and stops in Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester and Bristol. It concludes on March 25 with a concert at the Kentish Town Forum in London.
Meanwhile, Dakus shared last month’s cover of Snow Patrol’s 2006 song “Chasing Cars”, re-imagining the track with spectral syntheses and the atmosphere.
