The UFC welterweight champion Marvin Vettori was the last fighter to call Jake Paul, and the Italian Dream challenged the YouTube boxer to a 5-0 sparring fight at his gym.
Dana White called Vettori Paul “fake” in light of his claims that he could sign a contract with the UFC if he raises fighters’ salaries and offers long-term medical care to fighters.
“Hey Fake Paul @jakepaul let’s sparring,” Vettori wrote on Twitter. “I agree with the bail you want,” he said. You can sue anyone at any time, anywhere, but you won’t pass even after 6 rounds. Put your nuts on the table, I want to feel if you can really box. #FakePaul #theitaliandream ”.
Paul made his boxing debut in 2020 and won all but one of his five fights by knockout. He has yet to fight a professional boxer, but Ben Askren and Tyrone Woodley have won outstanding KOs over two former MMA champions, most recently by knockout on Dec. 18 at Showtime Sports.
Vettori, on the other hand, consolidated his status as one of the best middleweight categories in the world by unanimously defeating Paulo Costa at UFC Fight Night 196. He is currently ranked No. 2 in the UFC middleweight division.
