Triple H has made NXT one of the best wrestling ads in the United States. WWE allowed him to search for and sign the best independent talent across the country. The show was booked with wrestling fans in mind. Things are very different now in Orlando.
WWE took the brand in a whole new direction late last year. They tried to modernize the show to attract young audiences by presenting new young wrestlers and a colorful new collection. Many NXT fans are not happy with the changes.
NXT 2.0 presented the evil of the New Year yesterday. The show ended with a NXT championship game between Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker. During the introduction, Breakker split the classic NXT logo in two on his way to becoming the new champion. It was another symbolic dagger to the much-loved NXT. The reaction on Twitter prompted viewers to ask for a show version of Triple H.
“Impact was” killed “by the nonsense of Hogan, Bischoff, and others.” otherwise, NJPW would have done a better job. AEW didn’t kill Triple H’s NXT, Vince McMahon did.
“Black and gold NXT was the pioneer of AEW. Shame on them for spitting inside. My only hope is that Triple H is healthy because he had a heart problem and everything changed when he wasn’t around. The brand is gone, but it did a good job in its presence. ”
“Vince killed Triple H’s NXT, Hogan and Bischoff Impact killed, NJPW is still strong and ROH is on hiatus”
“Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard spit in the face of the old NXT logo, smh … It rubs me wrong because it proves that Vince McMahon NEVER appreciated the Triple H NXT version. #WWENXT ”
WWE seems to have stuck to its plan. NXT 2.0 will be a tool for new talents to become experienced and leave their mark. Triple H’s vision of the brand won’t be back anytime soon.
