Triple H is in all the news and sometimes for the wrong reasons. ROH and NJPW hosted the 2019 Madison Square Garden G1 Supercard show. Although the incident happened a few years ago, it is back in the news again. This is mainly due to Triple H.

Madison Square Garden has long been seen as the spiritual home of WWE. In recent years, however, the company has moved most of its shows in New York to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. In 2018, due to the extreme popularity of the New Japan Wrestling Pro and Ring of Honor competitions, the companies announced a joint show coming out of Madison Square Garden, the world’s most popular arena.

Although the move looks like a direct hit at WWE, fans were thrilled, although 60% of tickets were sold out in advance, while the remaining tickets sold out in just 16 minutes. However, it doesn’t seem to sit well with WWE.

Dave Meltzer Wrestling Observer Now Triple H has reportedly announced that he is allegedly trying to force Madison Square Garden to cancel the reservation.

“Did WWE work to keep various wrestling companies out of the places they run? Absolutely. It’s happened since the beginning of time. That’s just one of the reasons two shows are planned,” Dave said. was transferred to the Felt Forum, where they were unable to stop. “

“They sold out on the first day of the Honor Ring and New Japan shows a few years ago, and WWE blocked it. Paul Leveske called Madison Square Garden and said, ‘We don’t want you to book this show.’

MSG tried to cancel the reservation, but Sinclair Broadcasting, which owns Ring Of Honor, threatened to sue the arena.

Now things are starting to look bad for WWE. Although the incident happened a few years ago, it is still in the news. Major League Wrestling’s has decided to file an antitrust lawsuit against WWE. The lawsuit alleges that WWE tried to disrupt the MLW business in various ways.
