Tony Storm and more Wrestle Dark Match before SmackDown

WWE is looking at some NXT Superstars and they are getting trout matches while the company prepares to plan with those upcoming talents. Before SmackDown this week, many superstars played dark matches.

According to PW Insider, Shotzy Blackheart, Tony Storm, Carrion Cross and Odyssey Jones all received tryouts before SmackDown. It was not noted whether Scarlett was around or with Kroos. The matches reported were as follows:

*Shotji Blackheart vs Tony Storm.

*Odyssey Jones vs. Robert Roode.

*Carrion Cross vs Cesaro.

Karrion Kross and Shotzi Blackheart have participated in main roster tryouts in the past. The inclusion of Tony Storm in the event should have some fans excited.

Odyssey Jones isn’t a man who has put any focus on the Black & Gold brand’s weekly shows, but he’s grinding at the performance center. He is a cross-over athlete, real name Omari Palmer, who is a former college football player. He signed with WWE NXT and was part of the February 2019 Performance Center class.

We’ll have to see who WWE calls next, but it looks like they’re expanding their search.

Who do you have to say who could be called up to the next WWE main roster? sound off Comment – Comment!
