Tony Khan never shied away from telling everyone how he felt. The AEW president has often commented on WWE. Khan regularly leads the rankings for Dynamite and Rampage and is happy to compare them to his rival.

WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite clashed for 75 weeks in a battle known as the “Wednesday Night Wars.” Tony is happy to remind everyone who listened that AEW dominated the main demographics for more than a week during that period. The only win in the NXT rankings came in December 2019 on a show featured by future AEW star Adam Cole and Finn Balor.

Khan recently discussed the wars on Wednesday night in a speech on the Ruslin podcast. Tony joked that he wanted to make a documentary about the race. These two shows are named in honor of the AEW rating record against NXT at a time when they were in direct opposition to each other.

“The only time in the demo, on Wednesday night, during the war, someone told me that, and that’s good advice, maybe we should make our own documentary about Wednesday night’s war. Like a one-sided documentary. I think that’s a very good idea. We can call this 76 to 1 or 75 to 1.

In one big game, Adam Cole was involved, and most of the good quarters, I thought he was a very important part, but Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish can’t be ignored either. When Bobby Fish arrived, it made perfect sense. Won’t we reunite Bobby Fish and Adam Cole again?

Tony Khan sees no problem in making fun of his competition. Khan did the same when he collided with an hour-long Rampage at SmackDown. The AEW won the battles on Wednesday night, but the company has a long way to go if it wants to defeat the WWE juggernaut.

What do you think of Tony Khan’s thoughts on the wars on Wednesday night? Let us know in the comments!
