Tommaso Ciampa is undoubtedly one of the most popular Superstars in all of NXT. He has been involved in many memorable matches and feuds with Johnny Gargano and others from the brand.
The former NXT Champion has accomplished whatever it takes to take on the Black & Gold brand. However, there were also instances where he didn’t quite like what WWE Creative gave him.
Tommaso Ciampa was asked if he felt creatively fulfilled in NXT. Ciampa responded that he doesn’t always feel creatively complete, adding that it’s impossible to creatively complete everyone on the WWE roster.
“To be honest, I don’t know if you always do that. And you have to figure out that part of the process, I don’t know how many, like 40 people on the roster, but everyone is creatively taking 52 weeks a year. It’s impossible to accomplish. It’s not real. So it’s just a kind of understanding like it’s all this time, and it’s still there, you can still make out the quality, not what you’ve been allotted, but what you Let’s control that, and it’s not easy by any means. I’m not saying I don’t have days where I’m disappointed, or that I don’t have a chip on my shoulder when I’m left with a takeover or something. Taken for granted. I do. You know, but it is, I have to step out of my bubble sometimes and just understand that this is a much bigger business than me.”
Tommaso Ciampa recently said that he does not rule out a place on the main roster. We’ll have to see which main roster brand Tommaso Ciampa will be called upon whenever that happens.
