Tito Santana’s legacy in professional wrestling is in place. He worked very long and successfully at WWE (then WWF). Now his daughter, Jenny Santana, is shedding some light on her relationship with her father or his lack of it.
Jenny Santana is following in her father’s footsteps, but she recently said in an episode of Charlie Haas ’Wrestling’s Greatest Podcast podcast that Santana recently found out he was her biological father and didn’t spend time growing up with her. Haas is definitely a former WWE superstar. He joined Team Angle along with Kurt Angle and Shelton Benjamin.
When asked if Haas was a second-generation wrestler, Santana said the same about his father and their current relationship.
“Actually, I didn’t grow up with him. I found out a few years ago that he was my father. My second generation childhood wasn’t like everyone else’s, so I look at it from a different angle, but it’s so exciting to see what he’s achieved, it’s amazing and it’s amazing.
We don’t really have a relationship right now. We talked a few times, but lately he’s been quiet, so I don’t know how he’s going and where he’s going. Honestly, I haven’t had a chance to talk to him since I started wrestling … He told me he wished me luck in wrestling. He had no ill intentions. “I’ve only been training for six months now.”
Santana is a master of single combat and is a skilled wrestler, as Haas said in the interview video. He is the owner of a black belt in jiu-jitsu and as Haas also pointed out in the interview, he is incredibly knowledgeable. So … the future of this young woman in the industry could be huge. We look forward to seeing where he takes it.
Tito Santana, meanwhile, still struggles from time to time and is 68 years old. She is also a high school teacher. At the time of writing this article, he has not made any explicit comments about his daughter’s career or her future in the field.
