The real estate market in Nashville has made it one of the best cities in terms of competitive housing prices.
But in a particular apartment building, someone may scratch their head.
The small house in Music City sold for $ 1.5 million, according to local Fox station WKRN.
For comparison, when it was last sold in 2007, the price was only $ 135,000.
The mobile home occupies an area of only 528 square meters.
Apparently, there was more to the list than originally described – and it was purchased for acres, not exactly for a mobile home.
“Surprisingly, the list or any web service that pulled out this information only pulled one parcel, but gave the total cost,” Ashton Real Estate Group spokesman Ryan Turbeville told WKRN. “With an area like this, they could build and sell 40-50 homes or rent them out on a short-term basis.”
The list initially said the mobile home was only 24 acres, but in reality it consisted of four plots of 1.5 acres.
The new owners are registered under the pseudonym 1110 Baptist Partners, who at one time bought another plot of land in the area for only $ 112,000.
“When the development of the North River finally began and Oracle declared itself as the main anchor tenant, all the neighborhoods around it were evolving,” Turbevil added, citing the technology corporation. “How long it will last, everyone is predicting – 5-10 years before it spreads.”
