Viewers learned what would happen when two holidays meet at once, thanks to Tim Burton’s original film Horror before Christmas. This stop-motion producer portrays Jack Skellington, who dreams of a life other than being the King of Pumpkins.
The lead voice of this protagonist was performed by Elfman, who was the first to create this film and sang for the first time for this film.
“When I wrote these songs with Tim, I felt like I was writing from my own point of view,” Elfman said in an interview with Time magazine. “I’m really in touch with Jack. He was totally Tim’s creation, but I’m totally connected with the way I’m writing the songs.”
“Oddly enough, that’s how I treated my group,” he continued. “If you’re a group leader, you’re like the king of a small world. I really wanted to go out and didn’t know how. So when I wrote about Jack and Halloween, I wrote about myself. ”
Apart from Jack Skellington, there is no other character written by Elfman, who was later mentioned by the composer. However, it had two other minor roles Horror before Christmas This portrayed Elfman as a voice actor.

Outside of Jack Skellington’s singing voice appearance Horror before Christmas the composer voiced two more heroes in this animated play. This includes the skeletal-faced trickster Barrel, who works for Oogie Boogie.
Elfman also voiced “Tearful Clown,” a self-proclaimed clown who sat on a bike and appeared in the producer’s first song, “It’s Halloween.” Halloween had a lot of unique characters, including a two-faced mayor and a crazy scientist.
