Youth Group “In The Wake Of Your Leave” continues to make fun of their new single and make a fuss for their next album.
The song “In The Wake Of Your Leave”, which will be released on January 7, will be the fifth song from their third album “Angel In Realtime”. “Angel of the 8th Avenue”., “Unison”, “Man himself” and “Take care of the garden”.
To give more details about the new song, the group posted a video on Instagram showing Formula 1 driver Daniel Riccardo singing and dancing to the track.
“It was easy compared to most of the record,” the band wrote in a new song on Instagram.
“Dave wrote a chorus that revolved around Copenhagen one night, and with it everything fell into place.”
At the end of 2020, Riccardo said he played both vocals and drums to the band’s new album, when he joined their studio in London.
Angel In Realtime will be released on February 25, making it the band’s first album since 2017’s Go Farther In Lightness. The album is inspired by the late father of frontman Dave Le’aupepe, whose face adorns the album’s artwork.
“My father was a talented and passionate gardener. It is here that he has gathered his great strength and sensitivity, and despite our humble economic situation, we have always been surrounded by beauty, ”Le’aupepe said in a press release.
“His journey from Samoa to Australia was difficult and inspiring, but also full of mistakes, regrets and terrible choices. I love to think that he is building something beautiful and to think about what life has given him despite his mistakes and hiding. We didn’t know his story until his death, so this is the most poetic interpretation of his closeness to gardening that I thought. “
They will be touring the album extensively around the world this year, performing shows throughout Europe, North America and Australia.
