The DDP (Diamond Dallas Page) revealed about the reconciliation of Jake Roberts and The Ultimate Warrior shortly before Warrior’s death.
In 2014, Roberts and Warrior both joined the WWE Hall of Fame. The two had to work together on a WWE story in the early 1990s. However, Roberts said Warrior reacted negatively when he informed him of the plans.
The DDP, who added Roberts to the WWE Hall of Fame, recently discussed his long-term mentor That 90s wrestling podcast. He said Roberts and Warrior had a “wonderful conversation” to clear the air after more than 20 years of animosity:
“When he [The Ultimate Warrior] Jake also entered the Hall of Fame, so I was there to attract Jack, too, ”the DDP said. “There was bad blood between the two of them,” he said. I just explained to Jake, “You know, brother, it won’t do you any good to hold this.” And he had to do it himself, but he let it all go and he went to the warrior and they had a very good conversation, and Jake left feeling very good about it. And then the Warrior died two days later, you know. ”
After receiving the WWE Hall of Fame Hall induction, Ultimate Warrior appeared after the 30th episode of WWE RAW’s WrestleMania. He sadly died the next day at the age of 54, after a heart attack.
Jake Roberts initially wanted to beat the Ultimate Warrior
Jake Roberts and Ultimate Warrior teamed up as team partners at several WWE live events in 1989 and 1990. Two legends never faced each other in a one-on-one match.
