DALLAS – In addition to former President Trump’s speeches on Sunday, the results of a Conservative Political Action Conference (CC) poll are the most anticipated moment at this weekend’s meeting in Texas.
And the voting process is underway among the 3,200 participants who received their rt at the confederation in Dallas.

CC participants responded anonymously – through an online application – to a 20-question questionnaire developed by the organizers. On the subject of secret ballot, organizers say it gives them a blow to conservative action, critical race theory, cultural abolition and border security.
But without a doubt, the two most intriguing questions in the poll are the seventh and eighth numbers, which are related to the 2024 GOP presidential candidate. The seventh question has a list of candidates, including former President Trump. The eighth question does not include Trump’s name.
Trump remains very popular with many on the GOP base as he continues to play a royal role in the 2022 Republican primary and is flirting several times in the 2024 presidential election to try to return to the White House.
“Desantis”, “noem”, “breakout” stars, CC ORLANDO 2024 STRAW POLL
As expected, Trump easily won the straw poll at the CC in Orlando, Florida, in late February, with 55% support in the first meeting of the 2024 Hypothetical Republicans. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who came in second with 21 percent of the vote, was the only Republican to finish second.
DeSantis, a first-round governor and Trump ally who rose to popularity among conservatives across the country for resisting locking and COVID restrictions against the backdrop of coronavirus infections, easily overcame a second straw poll that did not include Trump. DeSantis backed the hypothetical nomination by 43%, while another strong supporter of Trump, South Dakota Gov. Christie Noem, came in second with 11%. All of the names listed in the straw survey ended in single digits.
DeSantis will not be attending the CC in Dallas, but Noem will be speaking at a confederation a few hours before Trump’s address on Sunday.
The results of the straw poll will be announced Sunday afternoon, half an hour before the former president speaks.
The potential hopes of Republicans in the White House are included in the seventh question, in the order shown on the ballot – Dr. Ben Carson, who served as secretary of housing and urban planning under Trump, former governor of New Jersey, and 2016 presidential candidate Chris Christie, Trump, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, former Ohio Gov. and 2016 presidential candidate John Kasich, Missouri Sen. Josh Howley, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, as well as 2016 former Vice President Mike Pence, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Utah Senator Mitt Romney, 2012 GOP presidential candidate, former South Carolina Governor and Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Hayley, Kentucky Senator Rand ul, another 2016 presidential candidate, Senator Rick Scott of Florida, DeSantis, you of Texas ator Ted Cruz, a 2016 GOP presidential candidate, Arkansas Sen. Tom Cott and Acesparks owner Taker Carlson.
The eighth question – the same lineup of 2024 candidates – excluding the former president – added Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Senator Tim Scott from South Carolina to the list.
