As the Fourth of July approaches, streaming platforms are full of camp-themed movies that will make you feel like you’re roasting marshmallows over a fire, or sunbathing by the lake—without the raves and bug bites. K.

“Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp”
The prequel to the 2001 classic comedy, “First Day of Camp,” sees the original cast playing younger versions of their characters—despite looking undeniably older in real life. Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks in the Stacked Cast Bradley Cooper, Christopher Meloni, among others, as well as some newcomers such as Chris Pine.
Meanwhile, the original “Wet Hot” movie is also streaming on Hulu. Double Feature Time!

“Moonrise Kingdom”
The 2012 Wes Anderson flick follows Sam (Jared Gilman), a 12-year-old orphan boy who flees Camp Ivanhoe to visit his pen mate, setting off a chain reaction as the local Khaki scouts discover it.
