Ted Cruz mocks VP Harris’ “ridiculous” comparison with civil rights executives that he is running away from Texas Dems

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz ridiculed Vice President Kamala Harris for describing Texas Democrats who fled the state as “ridiculous” for blocking new legislation in a vote on “American Reports” on Wednesday.

HARRIS FREDERIC DOUGLASS, SELMA MARCHERS, SUFFRAGETTES LEGACY WITH TEXAS “SERVED” DEMOCRATS

TED CRUZ: It’s actually a lot of fun. Then I checked that the heroes of the civil rights demonstration on the Edmund Pettus Bridge were not on a private charter plane, that there was no Miller Lite case next to them. Here are the Democrats who organized the political helmet and they want to attract the attention of the media. They are getting it. The Biden administration wants to play politics, and that’s why they’re doing it. But it will fail. They have to come home eventually. And when they got home, the governor was right to say that Texas will continue to convene special sessions until the Voter Integrity Act is passed to protect the integrity of the electorate.

And if the Democrats in this House of Representatives continue this cascade, they will be arrested. The Texas constitution gives broad powers to arrest lawmakers who try to stop the government and force them to participate in the House of Representatives so that the wheels of government continue to turn. So when their dubbing is over, the legislature does its job.
