Shotzi and Nox became the new No. 1 contenders for the Women’s Tag team titles

Shotzi and Knox brought new life to the SmackDown women’s section last week. The duo moved from NXT to the main roster in a timely manner as the split in the blue brand was greatly diminished.

Their debut was also exciting as they defeated WWE Universe champion WWE women’s team champions Natalya and Tamina.

Yesterday they did a very good job, so WWE officials decided to give the Shotzi and Nox duo another chance to prove themselves in this week’s episode. Only this time with much higher rates.

Shotzi and Knox once again joined the ranks of champions. The women’s teams got a chance to be the new No. 1 contenders for the titles.

It was a great opportunity for Shotsi and Knox and the duo stepped into the challenge. Shotzi and Knox, who fought against Natalya and Tamina, stepped up the fight and claimed the victory to be the new 1st contender.

True, Natalya and Tamina could have been distracted by the money of their rivals Zelina Vega and Liv Morgan in the ladder game at the Bank. Still, nothing will be taken away from Shotzi and Knox, who took their chances tonight.

Shotzi and Knox may have to compete against Natalya and Tamina at SummerSlam

Despite being the No. 1 contender, Shotzi and Knox may have to wait a while for current champions Natalya and Tamina to challenge for the championship.

As of now, the WWE Women’s Team Champion has been announced as the last two contestants in the Women’s Money Tournament at the Bank Money Ladies Tournament and will therefore be working to defend their portfolio this Sunday.

Shotzi and Knox are unlikely to compete against the champions at SummerSlam. This comes after WWE champions and Mandy Rose and Dana Brook canceled their conflict plans.

Who do you think will come first in this debate? Will Shotzi and Knox do it three in a row? Let us know in the comments section below.
