Brock Lesnar was not on WWE television after Drew McIntyre left the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36. That changed at WWE SummerSlam last year, where he made a surprising return to WWE television and clashed with Roman Reigns. Brock officially returned as a baby and delighted the fans.
Brock Lesnar made his WWE debut in 2002 and was immediately noted as an unstoppable force fighting the company’s talent. This includes legends like Ric Flair.
Since returning to the company in 2012, Brock Lesnar has paid a ton as part of his contract. This has led to a lot of criticism from fans, who believe that Lesnar’s occasional play does not guarantee that he will get a big salary.
Speaking Wooooo Nation Uncensored, Ric Flair spoke about Brock Lesnar’s pay to see on WWE Day 1. Fleur gave Lesnar great props for his character and told him he deserved more for the big salary he was getting.
They love to trust someone. I mean, as a baby face, you can look at Brock Lesnar just because he’s a great athlete. They know when it is [Brock Lesnar] I kick someone’s ass and the fans like it.
If you look at Brock, he’s real. Rome reigns and it is real. If you look at Randy Orton, he is real. These guys are big, muscular; they are greater than life.
So don’t be mistaken if people are upset that he’s getting paid too much. He will find it and he deserves it. “
Brock Lesnar is also set to appear in this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown. We have to wait and see what awaits The Beast Incarnate.
