In an interview with studio president and founder Ted Price, Smith talked about how he wanted to make sure the latest recording really stays true to the series (thank you, in attack):
“Inside, there was more talk about staying true to the franchise, especially since Ratchet and Clank have been around for 20 years, and it’s really one of the typical stock platforms of that era, and it’s still not surviving, it’s evolving.”
Smith adds, “Staying true to it, as well as bringing something new, because being a flipsid of eternity has made you do a lot of things, so how do you discover yourself?”
Smith and Price were talking Game Producer’s Notebook, an interactive entertainment business and craft podcast.
Smith talked about how he had to come out on time to show the game PS5, he said, “It’s a great opportunity to showcase the technique … so you have to come out on time, too.”
