Raquel Gonzalez has seen a lot of success at NXT. Her recent transition from a silent performer to the head of the NXT Women’s Department was a very transitional period for Gonzalez’s character. He can thank Brown Strouman for his creative inspiration.
NXT spoke with the women champion Yahoo Sport soon In an exclusive interview with “Spanish Heritage Month,” Raquel’s boyfriend Adam Sherr (formerly WWE’s Brown Strouman) discussed how he helped her on the creative side of the fight.
“Even though I was next to Brown Strouman, finding time to pick his brain, having a bigger man and character in the ring, I helped him better understand the wrestler who wanted to show himself in the ring. “
Gonzalez Sherr then talked about how he worked with him as he moved from heel to fan favorite spot. According to the champion, the transition is easier. He said being more vocal and behaving was key.
“I don’t think the transition from the heel to the baby’s face was much different. I still feel loyal. Another big change is the volume. When I was a heel guard, I kept quiet and kept myself calm. Now I can reveal myself, my character and my identity. ”
Raquel Gonzalez is one of the most consistent performers since the WWE brand was relaunched as NXT 2.0. Gonzalez defeated Frankie Monet in the September 28 issue of NXT. Mandy Rose will fight for the championship with Gonzalez on October 26 at NXT Halloween Havoc in the game “Turn the Wheel, Salt Contract.”
