Big E has indeed come a long and difficult way to the top of WWE. After a strong run in NXT, he was called up to the main roster, but eventually disappeared in the mix. There seems to be evidence of one of WWE’s recently amended plans.

Big E is also part of the New Day, and it remains one of the best teams in professional wrestling history. When the new day debuted as a band, they were initially heeled, but as they became more popular, they eventually turned into baby faces.

In the pay-per-view for WWE Day 1, Big E defended its WWE title against Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar. In the end, Brock Lesnar defeated Big Eni to become the new WWE champion.

As previously reported, there were speculations that Big E could have won the WWE title game until Roman Reigns initially passed a positive test for COVID-19. WWE On Fox’s Twitter account accidentally tweeted game results for Day 1. Under Brock Lesnar’s chart, the results showed Big E won the game, and with that, he should have won the game first. Obviously, the graph was quickly removed.

We have to wait and see what Big Eni expects as he can get a rematch fight for the WWE Championship.
