Pit Doherti and partner Frederick Lo announced his trip to the UK and Europe – see all the details below.
Proponents of freedom and Babyshambles frontmen have teamed up with the French musician for a new album, The Fantasy Life Of Poetry & Crime, which is set to be released on March 18 through Doherty’s own Strap Originals label.
So far, the couple has shared a single “You can’t keep him from me forever” in addition; however record name track.
Today (January 28), Doherty and Lo were confirmed to be heading out for the “The Fantasy Life …” tour in May. The stand, which kicks off in Paris on May 5, will also include stops in Cologne (May 6), Berlin (7), Amsterdam (9) and Belgium (11).
The duo will perform in the UK on May 13 for a head performance at COCO in Camden, London. They will then visit Birmingham (14), Liverpool (16), Aberdeen (18), Hull (19) and Cambridge (20).

Tickets go on sale next Friday (February 4). Fans can go on sale in advance by pre-ordering The Fantasy Life of Poetry and Crime on Wednesday, February 2nd. Doherty is the official web store.

He spoke in a recent interview , Doherty explained that his collaboration was the result of a “turn in” to inspire his new album.
“A lot of it was inspired by movies and a few years in Margate before I was imprisoned in Normandy and then completely separated from England and drugs,” he said.
“I was cleaning. I think if we have been so careless for so long and don’t pay attention to what others think, it will be reversed and you will suddenly lose any pressure, which is you become very sensitive about the new expectation.
Doherty added: “I think the creative process is like an addiction. I have to write a song and I have never reached the bottom of it. ”
Recalling his experience working with Doherty, Lo said : “We were like a songwriting duo and we loved it because we talked about it a lot. Smiths, Clash and Beatles.
“When Peter shouts about this album, it sounds a bit like that Jon Lennon style and I play this music like 60s pop tunes.
