Paige Has No Intention Of Joining AEW Anytime Soon

Paige was forced to hang up her pro wrestling boots far too early in 2017. She then became the General Manager of Friday Night Smackdown, among other things. Now that her contract is over, many fans expect to see Paige in another company, but she has no intention of joining AEW anytime soon.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion announced that she would be parting ways with WWE this month. This is because WWE chose not to re-sign her. Paige penned an emotional letter to WWE on the last day of her contract, and now she is free to do whatever she wants to.

Many fans also wondered whether she would go to AEW, as even Britt Baker called her out for a match. While speaking during her Turning The Page stage show at Starrcast VPaige made it clear that she has no intention of joining AEW anytime soon.

“I’m in the middle of writing a book right now, which I’m really excited about. We got a book, it’s going to be another year before it officially comes out. We’re in the middle of writing that. We’re doing other things, but I’m not allowed to say anything right now. It’s non-wrestling related, sorry guys. I’m not going to be going to AEW anytime soon. AEW seems great. I love AEW. I would love to face Britt Baker one day if the time is right, that would be awesome. All my friends are there now.”

Paige is excited to see her journey after WWE. However, that will not include AEW for the foreseeable future. Then again, if Paige is going to AEW she wouldn’t admit to it in a Q&A. It remains to be seen where Paige will end up next.
