Both Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov, who escaped the “Land of Warriors”, have gained a reputation as an invincible enemy within the UFC octagon or during sparring sessions. However, in a recent interview with John Morgan, Maxachev talked about sparring fights with the former UFC light queen.

A few months after Khabib Nurmagomedov retired, he gained weight, and for individuals like Islam Makhachev, it was very difficult to put a toe to “sparring” on the tip of his toe with an “eagle”.

“Now I can’t fight him because he’s so big. But I can fight him, I can fight him a little bit. But now he’s too big! No more than 155 pounds,” Maxachev admitted.

Dagestan phenomena are fully enjoying their retirement. Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is free from strong weight loss and long-term combat camps, has the opportunity to do exercises that he really enjoys.

It is no coincidence that the Eagle did not value his time as an active fighter. However, getting rid of the stereotypes and difficulties associated with being the best dog in the world MMA premiere is something that Khabib Nurmagomedov has always dreamed of.

Habib Nurmagomedov has been an important part of his journey in the UFC, serving as a mentor and coach to new fighters like Islam Makhachev. His compatriot ‘Eagle’ described in detail their role in their professional and personal lives.

“Now he’s more like a coach. He’s always supportive. (In all camps) he’s with us. He doesn’t fight, but he comes and helps everyone,” Makhachev said in a respectful voice.

Civil life seems to be doing the world a favor to Khabib Nurmagomedov and his compatriots. Getting a chance to learn from a really great fighter is something that only the lucky ones get.

Khabib Nurmagomedov, who was useful for novice warriors, proved to be a constant in his life. It is also clear that they will be forever grateful for them.
