A California mother was charged with murder after having three children on Wednesday found dead Prosecutors are at a home in East Los Angeles earlier this week.
A statement from the Los Angeles County Attorney’s Office said 28-year-old mother Sandra Chico is charged with three counts of murder and assault on a child that resulted in death.

The Los Angeles Times reported that someone called the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office Dertment around 12:45 a.m. Monday to report that two children were unable to breathe indoors. Deputies arrived and found three unresponsive children in the dormitory. The children – 3-year-old Mia, 2-year-old Mason and 1-month-old Milan – were all found dead at the scene, officials said.
Chico was questioned and arrested that afternoon, Acesparks 11 in Los Angeles. reported. The results of the autopsy were expected, and the sheriff’s office said Lt. Charles Calderaro said it was too early to speculate on the motive in the inquiry.
