Mike Glennon’s horrific performances on Sunday will be his last of the season.
On Monday, coach Joe Judge said the Giants defender suffered a wrist injury (in a hand he didn’t throw) when he lost 29-3 to the Bears.
Jake Fromm has the advantage to start the game against the Washington football team on Sunday, but the referee said the giants will be ready to play QB Brian Leverke as well.
“Based on repetitions and games, Jake nodded,” the judge said.
Replacing Daniel Jones, who was injured at the start of the fourth season, Glennon completed 4 of 11 assists in 24 yards with two interceptions and two shots, as well as four dismissals – for a 0.0-quarter rating.
Fromm, who signed the Bills ’practice team at the beginning of the season, went 6-of-17 for 25 yards and was a setback in the singles start of the season against the Eagles last week.
