Brendan Shoub thinks Francis Ngannou can beat Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder in his game, but UFC Hall of Fame Michael Bisping is less confident.
Ngannou wants to compete in both boxing and MMA as part of his new UFC contract, but Graf believes the Wild leaves a lot of room for success against the boxing elite.
In a video posted on YouTube on Tuesday, Bisping said of Ngannou, the reigning UFC heavyweight champion, “This guy is going to be hit very hard in a very scary and funny way.”h / t BJPenn.com). “But you can’t do that against a boxer because he leaves a lot of holes when he shakes.
“Listen, if he catches it, because you have been blessed by God. You know, there’s no reason he shouldn’t have knocked out these boxers, but he should have caught them first, and I don’t know.
Ngannou may have focused his goal on a boxing crossover, but the Cameroonian knockout’s hands are now full of Cyril Gane, who is fighting for the UFC 270 heavyweight title.
The pay-per-view show is scheduled for Jan. 22 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
