Malakay Black explained how this new AEW name came about while his wife, Zelina Vega, was speaking on the Twitch stream. When he takes it from the Old Testament, there is a reference to it in the Bible. He also has a connection to the movie Corn Kids, which is very annoying, but very much in line with who Malakai Black is.

The children of the Bible and Corn don’t get together often enough, but they were created for Malacca Black.
