Liverpool are linked with a number of new transfers as they want to add some freshness to their squad ahead of the new season. Here we look at the latest “Liverpool” transfer news and rumors as of July 16, 2021.

Liverpool are ready to release Harry Wilson for £ 10million

The Reds are set to fire several French players this summer, and Harry Wilson is one of the names on the list. Play.

The Reds were close to selling Wilson to Burnley on a permanent basis for £ 11million, but the move came last year.

Wilson’s current contract with Liverpool runs until 2023, so they don’t want to rent him out again.

West Brom and Brentford are among the clubs interested in buying Wilson. The Welshman spent last season on loan at Cardiff City and scored seven goals and 12 assists in the league.

Liverpool are awaiting the decision of Nat Phillips

Nat Phillips showed some great stars for Liverpool last season as the Reds got into the top four in the last few weeks.

But the 24-year-old is now expected to return after suffering injuries with a trio of Virgil Van Dyke, Joe Gomes and Joel Matip.

Ibrahima Konate has also signed a contract from RB Leipzig, which could leave Phillips struggling to play next season.

According to reports, Phillips could leave the club and allow the Liverpool defender to decide for himself what to do. If he wants to move to another place to look for regular game time, the Reds won’t stop him.

Harvey Elliott is hoping to stay at Liverpool and get into the starting lineup

After a good 2020-21 season on loan at Blackburn Rovers, Harvey Elliott has no plans to spend another season with the Merseysiders.

The teenager is one of Liverpool’s most talented young players and could be given more chances next season.

Elliott knows it won’t be easy to join the Liverpool team, but he is ready to work hard.

“I’m thinking of joining the team. It won’t turn me on and it won’t be given to me, I have to work hard for it. I believe in myself, you’re coming off the bench, I feel like I can join the team and make an impact,” he said.
