If your company uses Kronos, you may not be able to use it at work or outside for several weeks.
Ultimate Kronos Group, an HR-management company, has come under attack from a payment program that prevents its customers from accessing payroll processing, scheduling and managing workforce.
Kronos Workforce Central was also attacked, which includes a set of workforce management solutions for time and attendance, unemployment management, planning and more. Kronos Workforce Central tools are specifically designed for the industry to help manage the entire workforce on a cloud platform.
For now, Kronos advises its customers to use alternative options to manage the workforce in managing this situation.
Top customers who use Kronos systems include Tesla, Puma and YMCA.
Kronos first became aware of the extraordinary activity at the Kronos Private Cloud on Saturday night. The company wrote on its blog on Sunday that it could take weeks to resolve the issue. Kronos has not yet announced a recovery time.
Other services affected by the breach include Healthcare Extensions, UKG TeleStaff and Banking Scheduling Solutions, according to UKG Executive Vice President Bob Hughes.
Currently, Kronos is unaware of the impact of UKG Pro, UKG Ready, UKG Dimensions, or other UKG products or solutions located in specific environments rather than in Kronos Private Cloud.
The company plans to release another update in the next 24 hours.
