The Nicks got the good news about Kemba Walker’s knee.

There is nothing in her left knee arthritis that requires surgery. He needs more rest after six tough games involving consecutive games in Minnesota and Detroit last week. Walker did not play in a row with the Celtics last season.

According to Tom Thibodeau, the results are good news, although Walker played his third game against the Pacers on Tuesday and was included in the daily roster.

Walker was shut down during a pre-match warm-up at Oklahoma City on Friday and did not travel to Toronto when he went to tests in New York because his knee was not feeling well.

“Yes, it turned out positive, so it’s a general pain,” Tibodi said, referring to the knee exams. “So it’s going to happen day by day. We want everything to calm down with him.”

However, the Nicks know that there is never anything definite about the health of Walker or Derrick Rose. Walker will probably no longer play in the series when he returns.

Meanwhile, Rose was sidelined until the end of February after undergoing ankle surgery last month. For now, the guard position may be a problem.

On Tuesday, the Nicks received the good news about Kemba Walker’s knee.

So they are still planning to bring in former rude Villanova star guard Ryan Arsidiakono. This could happen if 10-day contracts can be offered on Thursday

They are no longer allowed to sign the former Bull as a difficult COVID-19 case because they are all out of protocol. Thus, the entry of Arcidiacono was delayed.

He played four seasons with the Bulls before heading to the Celtics in October and left their G-League team.

Ryan Arcidiacono # 51 Chicago Bulls on the move
The Knicks will have to wait a while for Ryan Arsidiakono to join his ranks.

Jay Wright, who coached Arcidiacono in 2013-16, seemed excited at Zoom Bell on Tuesday night. Wright said he contacted his former bodyguard.

“I saw the rumor and said it was true?” said Wright. He said yes, and I said, “He’s a wonderful man. I feel sorry for you. ”

Wright and Knicks President Leon Rose are close.

“We always talk about basketball and players when we see each other in the summer,” Wright said. “Leon is very similar to what Ryan is doing in the game. He loves tough, selfless talent, team players. I know Tom Tibdodo does the same. These two are a great couple. I know Ryan fits this culture very well and he is proud to be a part of that culture.

“I’ve been a Knicks wardrobe fan since I was above [in Hofstra] all years. I love Sixers, but I’m so excited. And Ryan is very happy to be a part of this organization. ”

Arcidiacono Maine started six games for the Red Claws, averaging 12.7 points, eight assists and 5.7 rebounds. He started four years at Villanova, where he helped Chris Jenkins win the NCAA title by defeating North Carolina in 2016. The Knicks believe the 27-year-old could serve as a capable backup.

Tibodo could not comment until the signature was formalized. He said he still likes things that are guarded by Alec Burks, Immanuel Quickley and newcomer Miles McBride, but admitted they could use more.

“I like versatility,” Tibodo said. “We have Alec. We have Deuce. We’ve got speed. I think we have something multifaceted, but you’re always trying to add people, to play. No matter what we have, we have to use it.” “

It is unknown at this time when Walker will return, but Arcidiacono could make it a rush.

The Nicks played four sets in a row, and Walker played two of them. The last was the Minnesota-Detroit game on December 27 and 28. Since resurrecting in Boston on Dec. 18, Walker has played an average of 35.2 minutes in six games.

Walker averages 13.6 points, 3.6 and 3.5 assists per game. He hit 41.4 percent from the field and 40.3 percent from a 3-point distance.
