In the fourth game, which lasted five days, Kevin Durant rested.
The Nets announced the NBA’s top scorer will play against the Thunder at the Barclays Center on Thursday, following three games in the previous four days, including a win over the Bulls on Wednesday.
Durant, 33, is second in the league this season after Toronto’s Fred VanVlit in 37.2 minutes.
Veteran goalkeeper Patti Mills will also rest in the game against Oklahoma City, with the Nets pointing out that LaMarcus Aldridge (foot) and Nick Claxton (pants) are also absent. Unvaccinated goalkeeper Kayri Irving will also be sidelined again this week due to local COVID-19 mandates after the team played two away games in Portland and Chicago.
Durant is still the Eastern Conference Striker in the Stars ranking with more than 4 million votes, ahead of Jannis Antetokuonmpo of Milwaukee and Joel Embiid of Philadelphia. Only Golden State defender Stephen Corrie and Lakers striker LeBron James Durant received more votes.
James Harden is fourth, Irving is sixth, and Aldridge is 10th among strikers in the Eastern Guards poll.
