CM Punk made his All Elite Wrestling debut a few months ago at AEW Rampage: The First Dance. It really changed the world of professional wrestling as many focused on the company. Tony Schiavone considered it the biggest debut in the history of professional wrestling.
Brian Danielson also made his AEW debut during the All Out payout. Since then, both CM Punk and Brian Danielson have appeared regularly on AEW television.
When talking to Justin Barrasso Sports Illustrated, NJPW star Kazuchika Okada spoke about the forbidden door between NJPW and AEW. Okada has made it clear that he would like to play with CM Punk and Brian Danielson before retiring in the future.
“Danielson and Punk play incredible games. Most of those dream game scenarios are about being excited about opportunities …. so it’s important to maintain that excitement and anticipation, I think. However, if we wait too long, they will both eventually retire, so I want to meet them when they are both active.
We have to wait and see if Kazuchika Okada will play their games with Bryan Danielson and CM Punk in the future as the fans will like nothing more than to see them win.
