After missing the last two games, Randle was cleared of COVID-19 protocols on Tuesday morning, but there is no guarantee he will play. Randle last met in Detroit on Wednesday. He played in all 35 games before the positive test.
Robinson missed just two games and last played on Oklahoma City on New Year’s Eve, so he had the least amount of inactivity. Rookie Sims hasn’t played in almost two weeks, so he played for a long time to play.
Obi Toppin started the last two games as a forward and played 45 minutes in Toronto on Sunday as the Nicks lacked great man depth and slipped into center. Although he scored 19 points, he had only 6 rebounds despite playing almost the entire game.
Knicks coach Tom Tibodo has backed the often-criticized Randle after his 0-2 win without the Knicks, and fans have said they always want to start the reserve before he starts.
