An animated clip has been released for the song “Already Dead”, which was developed after the rapper’s death. Juice WRLD.

In the animated video Already Dead, two versions of Juice WRLD see two samurai fighting each other. The rapper’s combination of two fighters is a back and forth duel of intensity, fencing and speed – no clear winner in the end.

Halfway through, the video features images of the rapper alive and encouraging words from Juice WRLD: “While it may seem impossible, it’s very, very possible. So don’t get nervous if your goal is big. Destroy it until you get to the right place. “

Below is a visual directed by Steve Cannon.

“Already Dead” was first featured on Juice WRLD’s second posthumous album, Fighting Demons. The record was published on December 10 and received a four star rating and Kyann-Xian Willams described the project as “proof of a delicate, intricate artist who is astonishingly rich in heritage.”

“It’s a very rare thing: a post-mortem album, carefully crafted, deepens the artist’s story,” Williams writes.

Juice WRLD (real name Jarad Higgins) died in 2019 as a result of an accidental drug overdose. In late December, his mother, Carmella Wallace, spoke about it “disrespectful” fans who leaks rapper music. While she “understands that they love her and her music,” she also says “there’s the right way to do it.”

“Let’s give you the best,” he said. “Leaking music doesn’t have to be refined music. It just leaked, it’s not finished. It’s a bit disrespectful to him to leak his music in this way. ”

HBO came out early last month Into The Abyss, A documentary covering Higgins ’rise as Juice WRLD. In addition to his rap career, the film spoke about the rapper’s fight against mental illness and how he quickly became a “therapist for millions of children” and “the voice of that generation”.
