Wide receiver Josh Gordon, who has been suspended from the NFL six times since 2013, has addressed league commissioner Roger Goodell with his recovery letter. ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The 30-year-old is reportedly hoping to make the NFL training camp roster, although he would be a free agent if he recovers.

Gordon, nicknamed “Flash,” was suspended indefinitely in December 2019 for violating the NFL’s drug abuse policy. He was conditionally reinstated in December 2020 and was scheduled to train with the Seahawks in the final weeks of the regular season. But this did not happen because its restoration was canceled.

After leading the NFL in field reception in 2013, Gordon struggled a lot to stay on the field and played 33 regular season games. He missed 79 games due to disqualification and last played in 2019.

The NFL has tested Gordon once in the last three months and he has passed it all, ESPN reports.

This quick video was last seen in a fan-controlled football league, grabbing passes from his former Browns defender Johnny Manziel.
