Joanne Higgins, Sean Rice’s grieving wife, broke her silence a week after her tragic death to pay tribute.

The pilot of a professional skater dancing on the ice died on Jan. 14 at the age of 49, leaving 47-year-old Jodein and their eight-year-old daughter Signy. The cause of his death is unknown.

On Instagram on Friday, Jodeyne shared a photo of them hugging on the beach and wrote that Shonga once again wanted to visit heaven to say “I love you”.

Jodeyne said: “A week ago you left today. A lot has changed since you left. I wish I could say once again that I love you when it comes to heaven visit hours.

Chloe Madeley, who participated in the 2011 Dance on Ice contest but was not paired with Rice, entered the comments section to offer condolences.

Jodeyne shared a family photo on Christmas Day, the latest update on Facebook before Sean’s death. “We wish all our family and friends, near and far, a happy holiday full of love and joy. The three of us hugged, ”he wrote.

Following the news of Rice’s death, a spokeswoman for Dance on Ice said on Sunday: “We are all deeply saddened to hear this news. Sean was a great skater and a friend of many on the Ice Dance team. with his family at this sad time.

Later on Sunday night, fans shared their disappointments after the ITV show disrespected the pilot on a professional skate.

Ice dancing scientists Chemmi Alcott and Chloe Madeley also paid tribute to the Canadian skater pilot.

Chemmi, an Olympic skier who was with Sean on the show in 2012, shared his grief over the news on Twitter to pay tribute to the skater.

Rice took part in pair skating with his wife and professional partner Higgins in the early 90s. He was a two-time (1993, 1995) Canadian doubles bronze medalist and a four-time (1993–1996) four-time Canadian champion.

The couple won a bronze medal at the 1992 Nebelhorn Cup and the following year again at the Canadian National Championships.

After their success in the race, the couple began touring on cruise ships in 2011 before joining the dance on the ice. Rice was in his first series with journalist Angela Rippon, along with his wife, Johnson Beharry.

The husband and wife team returned to the ITV show the following year with Rice in collaboration with Rice, and the pair were eliminated shortly before the final. Higgins was with Chico Slimani until the final.
