Jersey Shore: Family Vacation stars Mike and Lauren Sorrentino welcomed the reign of their first son, Romeo, on May 26, 2021. The couple spent their first months as new parents and shared many of their travels on social media. Therefore, when the couple believed that there might be a suitable time to give their brother to their son, it seemed appropriate for both of them to share their thoughts. In their podcast Here’s “Sitch” with Mike and Lawrence, The Sorrentinos revealed if they were ready for the second baby.
The parenting path of Mike and Lauren Sorrentino
After years of growing up as a couple, Mike and Lauren Sorrentino took the next step in their relationship. Mike wore a ring on his girlfriend’s finger while filming Jersey Shore: Family Vacation her longtime roommates looked on in April 2018.
The couple got married in a grand style in November of that year. Their wedding and banquet took place at Legacy Castle in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. Both were aired Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Just two months later, Mike reported to the Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in New York State in January 2019 that he would serve a nine-month prison sentence for tax evasion.
After Mike was released in September 2019, the couple began a parental search. However, Lauren fell into depression in November of that year. After consulting with experts, the couple continued to try to conceive.
A year after the pregnancy was reported missing, the couple announced on Instagram that they were expecting their first child. They then shared the baby’s jeans with a Christmas tree burning ceremony at their home.

On the Oct. 5 podcast, the couple spoke openly with the audience about their parents’ lives. They also revealed if they were willing to try a second child.
Romeo will be five months old later this month.
Mike says the couple plans to have their second child soon.
“As soon as we deal with Romeo, I thought we’d start moving for a second, maybe when he’s close to a year. Maybe nine months or something,” he said.
The couple says it doesn’t matter if you are a boy or a girl if the child is healthy.
Priorities changed after Loren became a mother

Loren has acknowledged that her priorities have changed since she met her son while continuing to film the MTV series, fulfilling her professional responsibilities and writing her podcast.
She said she was already thinking about a future holiday and was planning to celebrate her son’s first Christmas.
“I think some of the people I’m talking to say, ‘We’re going to turn on the light or we’re going to turn on the light. I’m ordering food for Christmas.’ They’re going to say, ‘It’s a little early,'” he explained.
“Usually, I thought before I was a kid, but when I’m busy every day and time goes by so fast, I check on everyone who tells me because I’m like,‘ Really? What you think? Because Christmas is like 10 weeks and I have so much to do so far, ”Loren admitted.
