Korean American singer-rapper Jay Park shut down his Instagram account and sparked rumors among fans about his retirement.
On January 1, the park suddenly closed his Instagram account, further fueled rumors of his potential retirement from the entertainment industry. This happens the day after he announces himself announced his decision to step down as CEO South Korean labels AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC.
Prior to the now-defunct announcement and the deletion of Park’s Instagram profile, the singer-rapper had written a mysterious tweet hinting at his potential retirement. “If I retire or disappear, miss me,” he wrote on Dec. 30.

On January 1, Park released a new song called “To Life” along with the accompanying music video. At the end of the clip, the singer also left a personal message that his tag had decided to step down as CEO.
Park said 2021 was a “really hard year” for him, and that it “required me to multiply, to regulate my emotions”. [to] Come to that conclusion, ”he thanked the fans for their support over the years.
“Look [me] now as CEO, but as a colleague, hoobae, sunbae, hyung, dongseng“We can justify the trust,” he added[ing] think of each other as a family as before and this is not the end, just think [of it like] The shape has changed and that is the next step. ”
Park has served as CEO since founding AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC in 2013 and 2017 (with Cha Cha Malone). the first of such famous artists as Li Salom, Simon Dominic and a member of GOT7 Yugyeom, Popular pH-1 and Sik-K rappers on the H1GHR MUSIC list, as well as JAY B of GOT7.
