David Arkett has no ill intentions towards his ex-wife, Courtenay Cox.

The pair played Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers in the upcoming fifth installment of the Scream franchise.

Arkett, 50, told the New York Times what it was like to be photographed with the 57-year-old Friends star.

“It’s a great experience to move against Kurten,” Arquette said. “It’s been 25 years,” he said. We grew up together. We have children together. “

The actors are married from 1999 to 2013 and share 17-year-old Coco. The duo began dating in 1996 after meeting during their first film, Scream.

Cox and his colleague Neve Campbell joined the “Never Kissed” star for an interview. Cox called and said that when he started filming the fifth film, Scream, he saw that his ex-mother was very emotional.

“He said the next day the crew didn’t look at him,” he recalls.

Arquette added: “I can say that some people don’t like that level of emotion.”

The couple was married from 1999 to 2013.

Arquette appeared on a night out with Seth Meyers in November, where she couldn’t justify herself about Cox and the late director of their film, Scream, Wes Craven.

“Thank God [director] Wes Craven, because I had a baby from him, ”he joked. He thanked the master of horror for returning Cox in the mid-90s.

The new episode finds Dewey, Gale and Campbell’s Sydney Prescott returning to their hometown of Woodsborough to expose a series of murders committed by the infamous Ghostface killer.
