The Weeknd, where Abel Tesfaye was born, is selling a Los Angeles penthouse for $ 22.5 million after selling it for $ 70 million at the Bel-Air mega-palace.
It’s been two years since the singer-songwriter, who loves special effects, bought an apartment for $ 21 million in 2019, and records show that if he can find a buyer, he won’t make much money.
The artist’s sale breaks Matthew Perry’s record for expensive real estate. The Friends actor recently reduced his penthouse in Century City to $ 21.6 million last year.
Consisting of four bedrooms and eight bathrooms, The Weeknd House is 8,000 square feet and covers the entire floor of the building.
Features include a 360-degree view from the Hollywood Hills, Bel-Air, Los Angeles Country Club and downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean.
There is a private modern chef’s kitchen and an entertainment bar with a TV wall. The main suite includes a private gym and a luxurious bathroom equipped with a steam shower.
The Weeknd sold its home in Hidden Hills last February for $ 22 million.
