Sam Neill, the iconic actor who has captured hearts with roles in films such as “Jurassic Park” and “The Hunt for Red October,” has recently revealed that he is battling blood cancer. In an emotional interview with the Guardian, the 74-year-old movie star shared that he is undergoing treatment for the disease and facing the possibility of death.

However, the actor made it clear that he plans to fight the disease with everything he’s got, saying, “I’m very optimistic about the outcome of this, but yes, I am in a battle.”

“I have had such a charmed life and enjoyed many good things that others haven’t,” Neill said. “I’m not complaining. I’ve had a wonderful life and career. But, yes, I am facing the possibility of dying.”
