Kellie Pickler’s husband, Kyle Jacobs, has died at the age of 49. According to police, Jacobs died by suicide on Thursday, May 28th.
The news of Jacobs’ death was confirmed by Pickler’s publicist, who released a statement saying, “Kellie is devastated by the loss of her husband, Kyle. He was an incredible man and an amazing husband. The couple had been married for 11 years and were deeply in love.”
Jacobs was a successful songwriter, having written songs for numerous country music stars, including Pickler’s hits “Things That Never Cross a Man’s Mind” and “Red High Heels.” He was also a producer and had worked with Pickler on her albums “100 Proof” and “The Woman I Am.”
In addition to his music career, Jacobs was also a devoted husband and father. He and Pickler had two children together, a son named Dixon and a daughter named Lillian.
