Joy Behar slams ‘The View’ haters: ‘I’m not moving out of this seat’

Joy Behar, one of the five co-hosts of the long-running talk show “The View,” has been a fixture on the show since its inception in 1997. But over the years, the show has faced its share of criticism and controversy, and Behar has been a frequent target of the haters.

In a recent interview with Variety, Behar fired back at her critics, making it clear that she isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. “I’m not moving out of this seat,” she declared.

Behar’s comments come at a time when the show has come under fire for its political discussions and its willingness to tackle controversial topics. But Behar argued that the show has a responsibility to discuss difficult topics, and that it’s part of the show’s mission.

“We have to talk about the issues of the day,” she said. “That’s what we’re here for. We’re not here to be popular. We’re here to talk about what’s going on in the world.”

Behar went on to defend the show’s diverse lineup of co-hosts, noting that it’s important to have different perspectives in order to have meaningful conversations. “It’s a great show because we have different points of view,” she said. “We have different backgrounds and different opinions, and that’s what makes it interesting.”

In the end, Behar made it clear that she isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. “I’m not moving out of this seat,” she said. “I’m here to stay.” It’s clear that Behar is determined to remain a fixture on “The View” for years to come.
