Kelly Osbourne is sharing the very good reason she’s “been very quiet these past few months” – she’s going to be a mom.

The 37-year-old daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne revealed the news on Instagram Thursday alongside photos of herself holding ultrasound photos.

“I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma,” she captioned the post with pregnancy and heart emojis. “To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!”

Before making the announcement, it had been over two months since Osbourne last posted to Instagram.

Her boyfriend, musician Sid Wilson, also shared a close-up of the sonogram to his Instagram alongside heart emojis.

In February, Osbourne marked the pair’s 23 years of friendship that turned into a romantic relationship. “You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson,” she wrote.

Sharon Osbourne also shared the news on her Instagram, writing, “My ❤️ could not be more full! So excited to share the beautiful journey ahead with you.”

Osbourne rose to fame on the reality show about her famous family “The Osbournes” and later appeared on “Fashion Police.”

The former reality star opened up last year about her substance abuse and a setback she encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic, revealing in April 2021 that she relapsed with alcohol after nearly four years of sobriety.

“I don’t know why my nervous breakdown happened at the end of the lockdown, I made it all the way through, everything was great, and my life was perfect,” she said in an interview with Extra. “I’m that girl that when everything is going great, I need to (expletive) it up a little and make everything a little bit worse in my life.”

She said she convinced herself that she was no longer “an addict anymore” after experiencing a string of personal highs, including “all of my career goals happening” and landing an “incredible boyfriend.”

But the star said her relapse has solidified that she will have to fight for her sobriety “for the rest of my life,” adding, “It’s never going to be easy.” She added she decided to share her story to help others. In a later Instagram post, she also shared she was “back on track.”
