Goldberg’s contribution to the world of professional wrestling requires no introduction. The WWE Hall of Fame has become a truly popular name during his career at WCW. Earlier, Goldberg admitted that he regretted not appreciating professional wrestling in the past.
Hulk Hogan, on the other hand, remains one of the most popular wrestlers in the world of professional wrestling, and his influence in business will never diminish. However, his problematic past of racism eventually led to his downfall. Seth Rollins doesn’t consider himself a good person either.
The two have worked together many times at WCW because they were part of one of the biggest stories in advertising. Many believed that Hogan used Goldberg to his advantage at the WCW, but this was not the case.
Speaking his 83 weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff spoke about how Goldberg felt when Hulk Hogan took his place as the best baby face at WCW. Bischoff noted that Goldberg was very upset after Hulk Hogan became the best baby face in the company.
“I think Bill was like Bill [Goldberg] You know, I was very disappointed that he was new to the business and didn’t have the solid foundation experience he could rely on. So there’s a lot that Bill is disappointed with.
Was Bill disappointed at the time? Of course. But, not because he wasn’t shown and not a show star. This is not true. Not true at all. Bill was a team player. He sometimes didn’t know how to be a team player or whose team or side to join. He was drawn in so many different directions, but he was never someone you know, where everything had to be about him. It wasn’t him. “
Goldberg was last seen at the WWE Crown Jewel, where he defeated Bobby Leshley in a singles match. We have to wait and see when he returns to WWE TV.
